Crumble — Privacy Policy

The short version We bake your report and delete the ingredients. No account. No database with your name in it somewhere. Your birth data goes in, your cookie comes out, everything else disappears. That is the whole deal.

Want to verify that for yourself? Open Crumble in the Brave browser and check the shield icon. You will see zero trackers blocked and zero ads blocked. Because there are none. We say we do not track you. Brave confirms it. You do not have to take our word for it.

Who we are

Crumble is operated by the Crumble team, based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Our website is getcrumble.net. We generate personalised personality reports combining Human Design, personality typing, and learning styles.

What information we collect

When you use Crumble, we collect the following information solely for the purpose of generating your report:

Your first name
Your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth (if provided)
Your quiz responses (personality type, learning style)
Your star sign and generation (calculated automatically from your date of birth)
Your selected report type

We do not collect your email address, phone number, or any other contact information as part of generating your report.

How we use your information

Your information is used only to generate your personalised Crumble report. To do this we use a small number of specialist third-party services:

humandesignapi.nl — receives your date, time, and place of birth to calculate your Human Design type, profile, authority, and centres. This data is used solely for this calculation and is not retained by them beyond the request.
Anthropic — receives your quiz responses and Human Design results to generate the written content of your report using AI. Anthropic's privacy policy applies at anthropic.com/privacy.

Each service receives only what it needs to do its specific job. None of these services use your information for anything other than completing your report.

Data retention

We do not store your personal information. Your data is processed in real time to generate your report and is not retained by Crumble after your report is delivered. We do not maintain a database of user information.

Please note that third-party services used to process your data (listed above) may have their own data retention policies. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies if you have concerns.

Cookies and tracking

Crumble uses browser sessionStorage and localStorage to pass information between pages during your session. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics that identify individual users are used.

sessionStorage holds your quiz responses and report data for the duration of your browser session and is automatically cleared when you close the tab. localStorage is used in one specific temporary situation: to carry your quiz data across the payment page redirect, which is deleted immediately once your report starts generating. This does not involve sending any data to Crumble or any third party.

Saving your report

When you purchase a paid report, your report is displayed on screen and can be saved at any time using the Save as PDF button. The report is generated from your data and displayed directly in your browser. We do not store your report on our servers after it is generated. We recommend saving your report immediately and keeping it somewhere safe, as we cannot regenerate it once you close your browser session.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. Crumble does not receive or store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. The only services that see any part of your information are the specialist tools used to build your report. They see only what they need, only for that specific purpose.

Your rights under Australian Privacy Law

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information
Make a complaint about how we handle your information

Because we do not store your personal information after your report is generated, there is typically no information for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have a concern, please contact us.

Children

Crumble is intended for users aged 16 and over. Our quiz enforces this requirement — date of birth is verified at the point of submission and reports cannot be generated for anyone under 16. Since we do not collect or store any personal information, no data from any user including minors is retained by us at any point.

For entertainment and self-reflection only

Crumble is designed for personal insight, entertainment, and self-reflection. Reports are based on personality frameworks including Human Design, personality typing, and learning styles. These frameworks are not scientifically validated diagnostic tools and Crumble makes no warranty that any report content is accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific circumstances.

Reports generated by Crumble must not be used as the basis for medical, psychological, financial, legal, career, or any other professional decisions. We are not psychologists, therapists, counsellors, doctors, financial advisers, or legal professionals. Use of Crumble does not establish any professional relationship of any kind. Your cookie is a starting point for curiosity, not a clinical diagnosis or a life instruction. If you are facing a significant decision, please consult a qualified professional.

The services provided by Crumble are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You assume full and sole responsibility for any use of or reliance on your report content. Your use of Crumble and reliance on any report content is made entirely at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Australian law, Crumble expressly excludes all liability for any loss, damage, adverse outcome, or harm of any kind arising directly or indirectly from your use of or reliance on report content. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Crumble's total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the report in question.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated. Continued use of Crumble after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
